Artemis started playing the piano at a young age, and soon found himself gravitating towards jazz, and found his passion for composing at the age of 15 after seeing a performance of City of Angels in the West End, immediately starting to study scores and arranging techniques in order to create his own musical voice.

He has worked as MD for numerous including the prestigious yet not widely known Maddermarket Theatre in Norwich.  Since then he has directed and played in the Pavilion Big Band in Norfolk and run his own jazz trio – the FlatFoot Trio.

As a composer Artemis has written music for a number of independent films and projects, as well as big band music all the way down to smaller ensemble works. His music can also be found in jingles for adverts such as the DCM cinema ad 

Artemis studies music at King’s College  and the Royal Academy of Music in London where he is MD/accompanist for a number of musicals and big band projects.
